Sparkling releases “You and I” april 14 – an epic electronic pop single feat. Lis Wessberg Four years after releasing the album “Felonious” Sparkling is now ready with a brand new single. On “You and I” Sparkling get a visit from the internationally acknowledged jazz musician Lis Wessberg and her iconic trombone tone. The groove, the new wave synths, and the jazzy notes push the song forward towards the epic choruses. “You’re lying on the floor!”, vocalist Carsten Mørch-Bentzen chants when the chorus kicks in and opens the door to Jens Christian Madsen’s synthetic machinery. A melancholic party tune with international potential. Sparkling started out in 2002, formed by Carsten Mørch-Bentzen (vox) and Jens Christian Madsen (synths). While working with Sparkling they have also teamed up with renowned film festival CPH:PIX who has used excerpts from the duo’s cinematic pop music in the festival trailers screening in movie theaters all over Copenhagen. Sparkling have toured intensively in Denmark incl. SPOT and Skanderborg Festivals, been artist of the week on Hitquarters.com, and collaborated with producer/remixer Dave ‘Rave’ Ogilvie (Bowie, N:I:N...).
