Hector “Akillíz” Felipe Michel (born August 27, 1993) is an Latin American rapper, singer, songwriter, recording/mixing engineer, and record producer. Born I’m El Monte, California and raised in Kansas City, Missouri Akillíz initially gained recognition as a producer and artist following his catalog work done for Extreme Music with Grammy nominated producer Davix Foreman, and Production credit for Joey Cool’s album “Coolie High” featuring Jehry Robinson JL (Bhood) and Tech N9ne. Intent on further pursuing a musical career, he went on to drop his first project “Nueva Ley” thru BMG Music landing a slot in their “Appears Next” platform. Landing sync placements on plenty of shows he then went on to pursue his own solo career, Now with over 10 years of experience in the industry. He has decided to go back to his roots as a Hip Hop artist showcasing a new level of understanding and appreciation to the art. With his new project setting to debut 05/13/23 he will be making it clear that he will not be “staying within his own lane”. Not worrying about genres, not worrying about boxes he has been reported saying that he will be mixing both that Latino and Hip Hop roots in pursuit of in return bringing a new sound to the his target market.
