Gene Garcia is a white singer of blues and black music being a pioneer of this style in the south of the Iberian Peninsula and currently an important reference of black music in Spain. Born in 1970 in Badajoz,a city bathed by the river Guadiana and located on the border with Portugal. With his creative artistic qualities, being also a painter, he becomes self taught in music and painting. With his first band Inlavables and five released Blues/Rock albums still being active, with the Reverendoes – a duo with the rarest Gospel/Blues sound – and with the Moochers, a quartet playing standards of composers such as Harold Arlen, Johnny Mercer and Cole Porter among others, he is not only a musician, but an actor as well forming an interesting baggage after being active for almost three decades. A self taught and multidisciplinary artist, worth to be discovered through his first solo work containing his first single "Let it shine", an interesting sound of Jazz and Soul in which he puts all the meat on the spit. Elegance and Charisma combined with his overwhelming voice and presence turn it into an experience not easy be forgotten.
