Tyrone Dywane Hunter, known by his stage name "Benjaminz," had a passion for music from an early age, influenced by artists like Delroy Wilson, Toots and The Maytals, and Buju Banton. His stylish appearance earned him the nickname "Benjaminz" from other artists. After moving to Barbados, Benjaminz began recording music professionally, collaborating with various producers. His debut album, "Money Can’t Buy Love," was released in Barbados and the UK. He released several successful singles, including "Tell Me When" and "Let Me Take You Away," which topped the Tempo Cross Caribbean Countdown. He also collaborated with Kingsley Anowi on the single "Let Me." Benjaminz performed at major events in Barbados and shared the stage with artists like Mavado and Machel Montana. In 2015, he moved to the U.S. and released new music, including singles and an EP. In 2018, he collaborated with Argentinian producer Micronomade on the single "Original" and toured Argentina. He continued touring in Argentina and Mexico in 2022 with Micronomade. Currently, Benjaminz is recording new music and performing both locally and internationally.
