Jordan “Eyceman” Watson was born in 1996, in San Diego, California, and spent most of his childhood in Lemon Grove. His dysfunctional, and often difficult upbringing forged the passion, as well as the suffering, that permeates his music, and fuels his lyrically sharp and uncommon voice. Jordan gravitated toward music from an early age, and was heavily influenced by his brother Devante’s obsession with all things hip-hop, and later by the genius of Lil Wayne. Growing up in Southern California exposed him to a range of other music and cultures as well, sparking an interest in rock, reggae, and the blues, as well as inspiring a broader sound in his work. After high school, Jordan further developed his talent for free-styling and writing music. He released his first mixtape, entitled “Dope” (the first in the installment) and the world got its first taste of his swift sagacity. Over several years, Eyceman and his Engineer/Manager Sean Dunne decided to build their own label, 27 Club Records and together, they began to create their vision and plan for independent success. Eyceman has built up a following throughout California, and is known for his innovation, as well as the way he brings actual musical performance and a fully live band experience to his rap. He has made a name, built a brand, and assembled an audience, and is ready for the next step.
