Biography

With over 23 million streams on Spotify in 180 countries worldwide, Remo Anzovino is one of the most original and influential composers and contemporary pianists and is one of the leading authors of the great Italian tradition in the film music. He has 18 discs between studio albums released and soundtracks. As a composer, he has closely linked his name to the cinema by signing the soundtracks of prestigious documentaries: from "Portrait of Queen" to "Pasolini Maestro Corsaro", passing for the soundtracks of the five films made for the "La Grande Arte al Cinema" (Vincent Van Gogh, Frida Kahlo, Picasso, Monet and Gauguin). The artistic collaborations are numerous and transversal: Franz Di Cioccio PFM, Lo Stato Sociale, Giuliano Sangiorgi, Roy Paci, Oliviero Toscani, Fabrizio Ferri, Gino Paoli, Dargen D'Amico, Simone Cristicchi, Enzo Gragnaniello, Davide Toffolo, Flavio Boltro, Francesco Bearzatti, Enzo Pietropaoli and Gabriele Mirabassi. In parallel with his recording career, he has developed an intense concert career in Italy and worldwide: three dates in Japan in February this year, in 2021 the International Jazz Ankara Festival, in 2018 the prestigious London Jazz Festival. And again: the Arena di Verona and Caracalla with the 2Cellos, the Royal Palace of Naples, the Castello Sforzesco of Milan, the Theater Romano di Fiesole and the Fusine Lakes for the No Borders Music Festival.
