Tilo Weber, drummer and composer from Berlin Germany, is one of the most promising musicians on the scene in Europe. He leds his own groups such as the Four Fauns (formerly known as Tilo Weber Quartet) the Five Fauns, Ensemble Du with Pia Davila and Almut Kühne and his brandnew Trio TESSERAE with Petter Eldh and Elias Stemeseder on harpsichord! Weber is known for his highly inspired drum work on Otis Sandsjö’s Y-OTIS, and has since then also been awarded with the prestigious Deutscher Jazz Preis for the arrangement of the year in 2022. Tilo Weber is also the drumming heartbeat of the celebrated band Y-OTIS by saxophonist Otis Sandsjö and producer Petter Eldh and musical coordinater, composer, arranger and drummer for the David Friedman Generations Quartet by world famous and legendary vibraphonist David Friedman. Over 10 years he has been the drummer for Clara Haberkamp and her Clara Haberkamp Trio. Tilo is the co-founder of the independent Jazz label MALLETMUSE RECORDS from Berlin: Malletmuse Records Collection.
