Meet Marv Krown, a Raleigh, NC based musician, instrumental artist, producer and engineer. The bass guitar is his primary instrument, which explains his attention to rhythm and groove in his production. If you have a traditional expectation of rhythm, you may want to lose that expectation when experiencing his music. And along with his out-of-the box approach to rhythm and groove, he will take you for a ride on a hearty, deep, and lavish wave of harmonies with some soulful sample chops he can't seem to avoid. Marv's giddy energy makes for an infectiously amusing show. He knows how to capture the audience's attention, causing them to gather around just out of curiosity towards him simply enjoying himself as he plays, not realizing that they find themselves joining him and his enjoyment. He's been given the chance to share the stage with the likes of Astronautica, Oak City Slums, Made of Oak, Treeecity, Lxrd Fess and a plethora of other performers. He's also performed in the Moogfest 2018 lineup of Raund Haus (the beat dropping label based in Durham, North Carolina) in 2018. With no end in sight, Marv looks forward to continually releasing more music and sharing it with people on stages all over the world.
