Kenan Zukan alias DJAkilah, born in Bosnia & Herzegowina on 12th of August in 1991. His first touch with music production began after falling in love with techno grooves and hypnotic sounds of Trance. At age of 15 he tries to explore and fuse sounds of that very different styles of music which led him to fall in love with music production. With no experience or any music knowledge his journey was tough from the start. In a country that suffers of Post war consequences he fights his way to escape all that depression and chaos with his music. That sound evolved in something that was new and experimental, but unfortunately For people around him that was something strange and not well accepted, not just with his but with all experimental music styles. That didn’t stopped him to be productive and to do something he admires,love and gives him peace. That period empowers him to make his melodies more emotional and deeper but with stronger, harder and aggressive rhythm to make people easier to express and release all negativity from past. In a city with multiple industrial iron factories which makes city environment sound polluted he instinctly put that “pollution” in sound that he makes, and that’s the secret behind his dirty style of rhythm and percussion work. All those elements mixed with his attitude and will to make the difference gives him power to produce music without usual patterns of music arrangment and that will become his unique music signature.
