Energetic 8-bit bass music producer Vault Kid made a name for himself in early 2017, when he first started to release music made entirely on Game Boys and be part of the thriving chiptune scene in central europe and the internet. Emerging from Germany, Vault Kid is standing out since day one for his melodic dubstep and trap influences, which were rather unpopular in the world of Game Boy Music. By the next year, he had released his first full-legth debut album titled "Into the Vault", which lead him to play a bunch of of small shows in Germany, France and Denmark, working with synthesizer-manufacturer Korg and meeting and making a lot of amazing friends in the chiptune scene around the globe. After his debut, Vault Kid started to focus on combining the bleepy Game Boy sounds of his childhood with a modern produced electronic music package and is delivering danceable, uplifting bangers since. The first product of this development was the "Where Are The Game Boys?" EP in 2020, followed up by regular single releases and remixes in 2021. One of which was the electro-pop-hymn “Thousand Little Voices” written together with Flanger Moose and featuring international, digital J-Pop idol Hatsune Miku, made for and performed at the HATSUNE MIKU EXPO 2021 Online. What’s next for Vault Kid, only the future can tell, but you can be sure he will push the crossover between retro 8-Bit blips, vocal synths and state of the art dance music.
