Lydia was born in Raleigh North Carolina, raised in Louisville KY, and currently resides in Asunción Paraguay. Music has been a core aspect of Lydia’s life from her earliest memories. At 5 years old, she started taking piano lessons and continued off and on working with 5 different classical piano instructors from the USA and Argentina until the age of 19. In 2015, Lydia became a certified Simply Music piano teacher and in 2016 she opened her own piano studio, “Gifted Ear Music Studio, LLC.” Where she has now held piano lessons for over 100 students of all ages. Lydia loves using music as a healing modality, setting positive intentions and then channeling the intentions out into music. Her musical style is neoclassical with an influence from traditional hymns, you will occasionally hear four part harmonies interwoven within the piano melodies.
