「我走指南路」成立於2018年，將華語韻律烙印在將被Z世代遺忘的復古 Brit-pop之中，過雙主唱聲線、英搖樂團編制，忠實表達自我生命裡的脆弱與堅強。透過「我走指南路」的音樂，希望聽眾能在生命的公路上，坦承接納所有美好與溫暖。 「我走指南路」團員皆畢業於指南路上的政大，在校期間獲得諸多創作比賽肯定。曾獲第35屆政大金旋獎重對唱組冠軍、最佳編曲、最佳現場演出等獎項。在五位團員畢業後，沿著指南路，離開多雨的政大，團員將音樂作為指南，紀錄五個人在世界各地求學、工作獲得的所見所聞。 歷經五年的淘選沈澱，「我走指南路」於 8/21發行成團以來首張專輯《無須指南 Random Trip》 Walking Down Zhinan Road (WDZNR) is a Taiwanese band formed in Taipei in 2018. The band consists of dual lead vocalists Lawrence and James, who are brothers, and Paul (lead guitar), Wayne (bass), and Hermes (drums). They met at National Chengchi University (NCCU) and began playing music together initially to attend NCCU’s Golden Melody music competition. Eventually, WDZNR won the duet championship, best arrangement, and best live performance awards in the 2018’s contest. Infusing the essentials of mandopop with retro British rock, WDZNR endeavours to present various aspects of our daily lives, both the vulnerable and the tenacious sides. Through their music, WDZNR welcomes all listeners to engage in an adventure where we learn to embrace the ebbs and flows of our life-long journey. Right after their 5th anniversary, Walking Down Zhinan Road released their first full album Random Trip on Aug. 21 2023, depicting the adventures after graduation and sharing their unvarnished feelings through music.
