LISE is a singer/songwriter born and raised in Mississauga, ON, Canada but currently resides in Toronto, ON, Canada. Shortly after receiving her first guitar and learning only 3 chords, LISE began to write her own music and longed to be a great songwriter such as Corinne Bailey Rae, India Arie and John Mayer. Her handwritten songs covers everything from faith, life, and love; majority of her songwriting inspiration is derived from her own personal experiences as well as other life lessons that her social circle has endured. LISE's major musical influences include Ella Fitzgerald, Beyonce, H.E.R, Anita Baker, Marsha Ambrosius and Erykah Badu - just to name a few.
