Elli Kokkinou started her career in November 1998, releasing the cd single “Kapia Mera”, with two songs to music by Antonis Vardis. About a year later she released her first album, entitled “Epikindina Paixnidia” from which she singled out “Pao” followed by the album “Andriki Kolonia”, with the homologue song being a great success. In 2003 she collaborated for the first time with the hit maker Phoebus, with whom she made the platinum albums “Sto Kokkino” and “Sex”, which were later re-released in platinum editions with new songs. Among the successes they have given us are “Masai”, “Den Ginetai”, “Agori Mou”, “Tha Perimeno”, “Erota Mou”, “Kosmotheoria”, “Xartaetos”, “Auto To Kalokairi”, “Sex”, “Ki Allo”, “Talento, “Itan Psema”, “Ti Tis Eheis Vrei” and many more. She has also released the gold album “Eilikrina”, the double platinum album “Ta Genethlia Mou”, the albums “Eimai Ego” and “Ta Aisthimata Mou”, as well as hit singles such as “Lypamai Eilikrina”, “Kardia Apo Gyali”, “Apohoro”, “As Ftaio Panta Ego”, “Eroteftika”, “Takse Mou” and “Ti Eho Traviksi”. In 2005 she was awarded as the Best New International Artist in Turkey for the album “Sto Kokkino”, while in 2012 she won the award for Best Song in the Balkans for Greece in 2011 at the Balkan Awards 2011 for “Eroteftika”. She has given her voice to three soundtracks and animated films.
