Sascha Rumpel alias Colour Your Mind may be influenced by grunge, his guitar playing and singing can get vehement - but something always blows over from the distant continent of the soul, which cannot be entered with firm steps. This is why the singer-songwriter achieves a paradox: his songs drive forward, bite into urgent rhythms but the soul remains at a distance that is necessary to make it visible: as a colour on the horizon. This colouring is evident when he changes from the rough and rasping singing, which can escalate to a scream, to the head voice, when the singing becomes a long purring. Here digs music, that is not only pop music, into a hodgepodge of unknowns, down in mysterious depths. The music of the multi-instrumentalist constantly slips away from the slogan of given musical template. With this Sascha creates his own template and leaves a trace of untouched freshness with recognition value. It is certain that the live- and streetmusician has a wealth of experience through a variety of performances and trips and this reflects his songs. Sascha explains: “I don't want to limit my horizon. On the contrary, I try to leave my musical comfort zone as often as possible in order to be able to open new doors in the end ”. By working with producers such as Robin Schulz, Dayne S and Anton Feine, Sascha has already successfully opened new doors. Furthermore, Sascha is part of the electronic downtempo live project Thujan.
