Voix in the Dark (pronounced “Voice in the Dark”) is a minimal electronic music project by seasoned Philadelphia artist DeShawn Timothy. Conjuring inspiration from electroclash, electronic body music, and hip-hop genres, Voix in the Dark aims to encapsulate the essence of the dark underground dance music from yesteryear. Live, DeShawn Timothy is accompanied by musician and spouse Christopher Ward on synthesizer and samples, adding a fresh dynamic element to Voix’s sound.
