Lost Savior is Alli's debut studio EP. The first song on the project is inspired by Camus' "L'Étranger," a layered instrumental and lyrical take on the existential question: is life meaningful? A repeat reader of poetry by Gerard Manley Hopkins and B.H. Fairchild, Alli has a words-first approach to songwriting. She is intentional with motifs and structure, influenced by novelists like Steinbeck, McCarthy, and Le Guin. Mason Jar Music chose Alli as their 2018 songwriting competition winner. She recorded three songs with them which have been released as the Down EP. She started playing open mics and quickly moved onto larger venues in NYC, like Rockwood and Mercury Lounge. Alli grew up riding horses in Louisiana. She moved to Las Vegas as a teenager where she climbed mountains at midnight and danced around bonfires on dry lake beds with friends. She learned to sing in church and to write music in Brooklyn, NY.
