Stockholm-based multi-instrumentalist and producer Elias Krantz debuted 2007 with the album Island Rock. With his wayward mix of infectious melodies, unexpected time signatures and ambient soundscapes Krantz established himself on the Swedish alternative scene in the 2010’ with the albums Night Ice (2011) and Lifelines (2016). Krantz’s music finds inspiration from krautrock, 90’s hip hop, jazz and minimalism. His latest album Side Notes (2022) is built upon field recordings from Japan, old vinyl samples and tape loops.
