Hailing out of the south bay of the Los Angeles area, Chay has been a notable artist in the area for over 10 plus years. Known for a series of mixtapes that set off his career in music locally, Chay Has dropped five projects to date since 2020 available on all streaming platforms. The following include his debut Roll Some Vol. 1, The Paper Route, Prayers From The Field, Roll Some Vol. 2, From The Ground Up, and Fluently. Back in 2017 Chay established For The Book Productions an independent record label devoted to providing a platform for up and coming artist with a message, along with establishing the hip-hop duo known as Day Won featuring himself and Illyel Bicsby a talented up and coming vocalist and rapper from South Central Los Angeles. The group went on to perform with well known names such as Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, curren$y, DJ Quik, Suga Free, Scarface, Devin the Dude, Ras Kass, Lil’ Flip and many more. In 2018 Chay met Gordo Cachedro a lyricist from San Pedro California where he further introduced him to the group and he has been associated ever since. At the beginning of 2023 Chay is sitting on three compilations that is said to hit the streaming services very shortly and is looking to perform and also to continue to spread his music and message across the world. The sky is the limit as these next few years will truly define his stamp in the music industry and will further prove that he is going no where and is here to stay.
