From South Carolina, a young producer by the name of The VanMan came along. Some may wonder, where did the name The VanMan come along? Owen Nagy, or known as The VanMan, was in 7th grade with another well known rapper known as Young Steppa and he was just beginning his rapping career. The VanMan doesn’t actually own a van, everyone had just thought that in 7th grade, and the name The VanMan came along. Early on, he was producing beats for Young Steppa to help his music grow. Eventually as The VanMan got bigger, other artists such as K Dizzle, Young Trippa and Lil Bump starting using The VanMan as their producer. He took a lot of inspiration from producers such as Metro Boomin and London On Da Track. Fast forward to 2023, The VanMan is getting ready to drop his first mixtape. This included 10 songs with features such as Lil BJ, Bing Bong Boo, Krizz Game and many more. This mixtape is called The Van and is available on Soundcloud. Late 2023, The VanMan returns and is getting ready to drop a new album in late 2023. The lead single, FAST CARS, released 08/04/23 and featured Young Trippa, Lil German, and BIG BRITISH. His first EP called TIRE SMOKE released on 09/08/23 and featured @Young Steppa, Young Trippa and more. He is gearing up to drop some thing big coming soon…
