He has exceptional connections, with affiliations with his first cousin E-40, the original Dogg Pound, Snoop Dogg, and Ice Cube. His music powers are honoured by not only his fans but his musical peers. He has released several solo albums independently, to critical and commercial success, appearing on over 70 various albums including E-40's platinum-selling album ‘In a Major Way’. MacShawn100 was originally signed to Sick Wid It Records, and later Death Row Records in his early formative years, learning from and performing with icons like Daz Dillinger, Tha Dogg Pound, Snoop Dogg, and 2Pac. He appeared on Death Row albums such as ‘Chronic 2000’, ‘Tha Dogg Pound 2002’ and ‘Too Gangsta for the Radio’, and has sold and appeared on projects earning combined sales of over 3 million albums worldwide. In the last 10 years, he has collaborated with his good friends and musical brothers Snoop Dogg, Daz Dillinger, Kurupt, E-40, J-Minix and various others, releasing a number of underground hit singles and EPs.
