Hi there - I'm a Pianist/Composer/Music Director. I was born in New Zealand, but I've been living in Australia for many years now. As a younger performer I was known as Mike Harvey, but in later years I am better known as Michael Harvey - but I answer to both ... and you can find my music under both names. I love to write in many styles, spiritual and inspirational, meditative and new age, solo piano, symphonic rock, music and film, and contemporary song ... and these are reflected in my body of work. I was classically trained, but played pop/rock/cabaret piano as an accompanist and in many bands in New Zealand and Australia. I feel fortunate that my music has taken me around the world, and I've participated successfully in many International Songwriting and Composition Music Festivals. Now I love to compose and record, and to teach students about the wonderful experience of learning to play the piano. 🎶
