Berkan Kaya Born in Kosovo (Pristina), moved to Istanbul in 1991 and took harmony and arrangement lessons from musician jazz guitarist Rene Macaroğlu. In 2003, he was accepted to Istanbul Bilgi University "Department of Music and Music Technologies" and during this period, he took lessons on harmony with Aydın Esen, ear training with Donovan Mixon, music history with Jeff McAuley and Francesco Martinelli, and music production with Hakan Kurşun, Mine Erkaya and Pieter Snapper. He graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University in 2007 with the title of "Honor Student". It produces a wide range of music from traditional Turkish to popular music, from blues to jazz.
