Popularly known by his stage name "Mjay" is a fast rising singer, and songwriter from Nigeria. He was born in the month of February, in port Harcourt , Rivers state. Growing up, he had his primary education at Benevolent Modern school and was a summa cum laude graduate of CSS high school . He is currently a 300l student of History and International Diplomacy In the Rivers state university. Mjay's career in music started at a very young age . At an early age of 13, he served as a chorister in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). music found its way into Mjay's heart in 2017. He started recording in the year 2021 considered an amazing feat for an uprising star . Mjay's music is an infusion of modern sound of jazz and soul music,one that is harmonically and melodically compelling. He has a total of three singles , his recent being "In Your Eyes" an amazing song that captures explicitly the amazing heights of love. Among his evident influences are Burna boy, Oxlade, Wizkid, Davido, Johnny drille and lots more.
