Poni claims to still “have no idea what [she’s] doing” but is curious and eager to explore her sound and carve out a place for herself in the ever-evolving electronic music community. Combining heavy bass elements, a sense of darkness and never quite enough distortion, she has no plans to stick to the confines of any one genre and hopes to establish a unique sound for herself. Notably - Poni was one of two winners in the inaugural Sable Valley remix contest, resulting in having an official release with the label, and additionally has had releases on Monstercat, Space Yacht, Seeking Blue, Gud Vibrations, Welcome Records and Kannibalen. With remixes for artist's such as Kayzo, Krewella, RIOT, Ramsey, Reaper, Tokyo Machine plus many more under her belt, she was also featured in the March 2022 issue of DJ Mag NA as one of 6 artists to watch as well as was named one of Electric Hawk’s to watch for 2024. She may look scary but inside she’s a soft marshmallow who still sleeps with a teddy yet is somehow evil enough to eat chips with her mouth open and stick her finger in your mouth when you yawn.
