J.Russ, a lyrically gifted & fiercely passionate wordsmith that knows no boundaries. A rising Hip-Hop artist hailing from Harrisburg PA, the pulse of the east coast. 
 Growing up he was inspired by the classic rock anthems of Linkin Park & System of a Down & Hiphop legends such as Ab-Soul Logic & KB. He’s bringing elements of their sound blended with his Hip-Hop style to create a unique vibe that is heavy, aggressive, & often times vulnerable. 
 J.Russ is developing a repertoire of tracks to make you think. He want to focus on delivering rhymes with a faith-based melodie, telling stories full of passion, pain & emotion. Even while staying true to his own style, he want to make sure he’s keeping it current & relatable for the younger generation. 
 His desire to be seen as a lyrical genius, spitting witty verses that add-up to a powerful punch line. Fusing Old School Soul with New School Rap, he’s one of the few artists out there that can truly handle that type of spectrum. 
 He’s not afraid to stand up for what he believe in or speak on the issues that he feels passionately about. “My generation is growing up too quickly & I'm using my music to spread awareness & help uplift the youth in any way that I can.”
