Who is Xtra Overdoze? Where did he come from, and why is he here? Xtra Overdoze better known as XO, was born Aaron Davon Smith in the Bronx, New York to Aaron Smith and Charmane Mitchell. XO had a turbulent childhood. Dropping out of school in the 10th grade, XO worked the street corners as a weed dealer while taking on auditions for open casting calls (High school Musical 3) at the same time to one day become an entertainer. Making customers laugh at his improvs of other celebrities or even freestyling to pass the time. There was always an audience for XO to show his many talents. It wasn't until finally making it as a rapper upon the release of his first mixtape Who The F*** Is XO in early 2018, also making multiple apperances on the Grind Mode Cypher's bringing him even more notoriety for his witty lyrics, edgy voice and not to mention his face paint. This made XO one of the hottest new artist to look out for in the underground music scene. XO became the topic of discussion. Sending listeners, producers and even label heads into a frenzy. And if that wasn't enough XO then moved from New York to Detroit to record and drop his first album Viral Injection in 2019. People crowned him the real MVP of the year, with comparisons to Tech N9ne, Eminem and Bizzy Bone. XO has yet to disappoint with back to back shows and feature appearances. XO's performance and work ethic shows that he is only getting started.
