Meet the exceptional 2-star PE award winner, music producer, motion designer, space age one man band. Influenced by Depeche Mode and Erasure’s Vince Clarke, growing up in a similar sister town to Basildon, his passion for music was ingrained early on. His grandfather, a plumber to the stars including David Gilmour of Pink Floyd, Kate Bush and Cliff Richard, exposed him to a wide range of music including Isao Tomita and Claude Debussy, solidifying his love of music. He started music lessons at 8, quickly excelled but let go by his teacher for his affinity for dark chords and wanting to learn the latest hits of the day. Told off by teachers for countless hours in the school's music block. would grow crowds playing Alright by Supergrass and Girls and Boys by Blur on the piano and learning how to get a Roland D-5’s cutoff and resonance working. Started making music on a 4-track, Drum Machine and Synth a joint christmas and birthday present and a PSS-790. His design skills blossomed going to same art school as Alison Goldfrapp Initially designing flyers for dodgy nightclubs in Essex then eventually working for The BBC. He had encounters with Spanish police on holiday due to early drone usage and lived in Trellick Tower a favourite brutalist building and influence. Working at an ad agency, he contributed to the UK’s NHS Covid response design. Memed and discussed on TV. Decided to pursue music with the pandemic making him feel life’s too short. hello@doubletriangle.co.uk
