Håkon Daniel Nystedt has been conducting among others the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, The Norwegian Radio Orchestra, Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, Trondheim Symphony Orchestra, Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and many other ensembles, mainly in Scandinavia . Being artistic director of Oslo Kammerkor since 2005, he has been performing with them around the globe, including performances in Carnegie hall, New York in 2015 and 2017. His chamber opera Anima was performed in Oslo in 2023, and in Halland, Sweden in 2024. His piece "Purgatorium" had several performances in Norway in 2019-2021, and the recording is released in 2024. His "Stabat Mater" was performed at the Oslo International Church Music Festival in 2023, and he has written several arrangements and pieces for the Oslo Chamber Choir during the years. Håkon Daniel Nystedt is now living on Nesodden, near Oslo — a peninsula with a vibrant community of artists and musicians.
