Alexander Lövmark is a Swedish jazz vocalist and composer. A entertainer and a scat-wizard who's newest album LITTLE BIRD comes out January 13 2023. It is a tribute to his lifelong love to the American Songbook! Stockholm born Alexander took to the stage at a young age with a solopart in Mozarts "The Magic Flute" at the Royal Swedish Opera House. That was a start of a jazz career. In 2017 Lövmark had a breakthrough, winning the Montreux Jazz Festival Competition, his debut album Perfect Storm (produced by Vanessa Liftig) was released 2018 featuring star tenorist Melissa Aldana. In 2021 he received the Monica Zetterlund award, a big prize for Swedish Jazz Artists. Alexanders influences stretch over a wide field, from Pat Metheny Group´s cinematic compositions, Kurt Elling's groundbreaking modern vocal jazz to Kurt Rosenwinkel's innovative contemporary jazz.
