Artisan P is a rapper from Florida whose sound is described as a mix of boom bap and lo-fi delivered in a DIY style. After releasing a string of EPs, some as projects with a single producer, Artisan P has finally released his debut solo full-length album titled Golden Summer. 
 As songs that have been collecting and in the works for the past few years, Golden Summer is an ode to lessons learned of the summers past, while expressing eagerness for more summers to come. With production credits including OGxLOOP and denhead, as well as label-mates Buster Wolf, DJ Proof, and Late Show Host, the sounds range from dark and introspective, to bright and optimistic. While rooted in the vein of boom-bap, this album includes electronic and lo-fi influences, with each song tapping into the vintage sound of the music we grew up listening to.
