Braden Charney was born and raised in Woodland Park, Colorado. Started writing songs at 14. After High School he attended The Institute of Production and Recording in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Where he learned Audio Engineering and Production. After getting kicked out of college for having too low of a GPA. He came back to Colorado Springs, Colorado. Began working on his first album under the name Braden. After 3 years of no progress under the name Braden, He changed his name to Soopahstar and went to work on his first project, Illusions in 2017, releasing in 2018. Later that year he released another album, Vybe. After releasing a handful of singles in 2019, he’s releasing another album in 2020, called Trapped.
