The Maan's álbum debut, a venezuelan guitar's duo that explore the Pop music with jazz and folk influences, blending acoustic sounds and electronic elements that creates an original music approach. Made in Caracas - Venezuela Andy and Maga have been vinculated to the music since they can remember, sharing and learning through different paths and musical genres. They both started in the venezuelan traditional music and have both experimented with different genres such as swing, bluegrass and fussion. Maan it’s a pair of guitars and voice that explore through original compositions, the world of pop, including jazz and folk influences. Their first album “Pequeñas Obras Vol. I” (Small Works Vol. I) was recorded and produced by Claudio Ramírez in CromoAudioLab (Caracas – Venezuela) and presents a repertoire that travels around from different genres. The concept strikes for a minimal but functional aesthetic using an acoustic formation of guitars and voices to reproduce and explore each song, looking to create sensations, textures, keeping it digestible and at the same time, trying to create an interesting atmosphere with (and for) the audience.
