Indie rocker Angie Heaton first surfaced in the short-lived Urbana, Illinois-based trio Corndolly; in the wake of the release of the group's posthumously issued 1995 eponymous debut LP, she signed on with Liquorette, appearing on their collection While You Work, I Sleep before finally going solo with 1996's Calamities and Restitution. Heaton's sophomore effort, Sparkle, followed in 1998. In 2004, Heaton returned with Let It Ride, released on Parasol.
