(Lyricist Yangempela) Siyahluma Mema known as Mema_Percent is a Vocalist/Songwriter/Lyricist famously known for his Lyrical prowess on Amapiano (Genre). Born in Soweto, he grew up in Orlando East then relocated to Protea Glen when he started School in 2008. His love for music started at school where they him and and his friends formed a 4-Men group called “The Soul" inspired by "The Soil". He then fell in love with Kasi rap . He started to write freestyles instead of homework’s in 2013 when he was in Grade 6. He would only do freestyles at School events and perform there. Then in 2014 he would shift his attention to Socccer. He later resumed his musical journey during his stint at the University of Witwatersrand. 2021 He had to drop out of school to focus on his Lyrical talent as he was stating to spend too much time at studio.Mema_Percent was called to work with The Black is Brown crew. He went on to introduce himself as of the best Lyricist. He worked with the likes of Zanten , Justin99’ .Kilimanjaro took over Internet in the early stages of 2023. People then started noticing the lyrical ability of a young boy from Soweto who is destined for greatness. During the year 2023 he picked up some great features on singles. He would close of the year by dropping highly anticipated songs "Tonic" and "Maten" in the black is brown compilation vol3 and Cement his place as one of the Best Lyricists in Amapiano Genre.
