Most famously known as 1/6 of legendary MOBO Award winning UK rap collective Smoke Boys (formerly known as Section Boyz) who rose to prominence in 2014 with their breakout single, “Delete My Number - Prod by Drapez” and later hits such as “Trapping Ain't Dead” and the recently Silver certified “Lock Arf” - as well as huge collaborations with the likes of Chris Brown, Stormzy, Skepta, AJ Tracey and Chase & Status - Deepee has since been on a solo mission to continue his UK rap legacy releasing his standalone mixtapes ‘Tourist’ & ‘Tourist 2’ in 2018 and 2019 respectively, along with a slew of trap and drill leaning freestyles and singles as well as some of his own huge collaborations with the likes of Stormzy, J Hus, Blade Brown, Tion Wayne, J Spades and more. After a year long hiatus, 2024 has seen Deepee return with a vengeance, dropping drilly “Brigade” produced by GottiOnEm, a crazy self produced collaborative “G-Style” Vault freestyle with his brother in Smoke, Swift, wavey single “Reach” with fellow South London artist essteeclb and most recently his first ever solo Hardest Bars for Joey Clipstar. 2024 and beyond looks to be promising for this former Section Boy, with another long awaited solo project in the pipeline as well as a joint mixtape with Smoke Boys’ Swift.
