Amber Elena is a 27-year-old singer/songwriter from the heart of South East London. With a musical family background, Amber's eclectic influences span from RnB, Rap, Jungle, and Happy Hardcore to Dubstep, Grime, and Garage making her a truly versatile artist. Amber began her music journey at 16, picking up the microphone and taking inspiration from a lot of vocalists she was listening to growing up like Katy B, Etta Bond, Shola Ama, Sasha Keable, Mary J. Blige, Inner City, and Robin S, helping shape her identity as a musician today. Starting off by sharing her creations on SoundCloud following in the footsteps of London’s DIY approach at that time, she later attended Lewisham College to refine her vocal skills and some 5 years later Amber met DJ/producer Raggs. Some of whom may be familiar with from Tim & Barry’s Just Jam series, through her cousin Cluekid, expanding her musical horizons. 2023 saw her first official release after connecting with various MCs and labels in the scene over the last year or so, patiently waiting for the right opportunity. 1Forty found her and saw her as the perfect piece to the puzzle, alongside Burt Cope and Lyrical Strally. Approached to deliver the top line, she grasped it with both hands to deliver an infectious hook ahead to make her big entrance to the underground with ‘I Swear’.
