Starting out as a DJ in Gothenburg’s early ’90s, Nibc became well known in the Swedish rave scene for Claustrophobic Dimension, a network of underground artists and musicians working within dance culture and its aesthetics. Gravitating toward a more house-centric sound in the ‘00s, he started to gain a serious following — he shows up in music-magazine polls as a favorite across Scandinavia, and has enjoyed the success of his record label, Trunkfunk (20 Years of Trunkfunk). Showcasing Scandinavian and international talent – from Swedish artists like Hans Berg and his own Stuffa project (with Jonas Rathsman) to Detroit booty master DJ Assault and German house legend Ian Pooley.
