DaRealWoodie aka Woodie is an artist based out of Stanley, North Carolina. He first jumped out on the music scene in 2018 with his smash single “Black Man” which came off his first Ep “Woodie P. Newton” which released in 2019. In 2020 Woodie dropped his second album entitled “Goat Talk”. Woodie has an unorthodox style as well as versatile. His music is a breath of fresh air and is accepted throughout. In 2022 Woodie released an R&B album “My Favorite Genre” showing his wide range of versatility. With those 3 albums under his belt his latest single release “Sparkle” may be his best work since his 2018 single Black Man. The single hit the local radio station WPEG Power 98 as “The Next Big Thing”. It also made a debut on Fleet Djs own DJ Rasheed’s End of Summer mixtape. In June of 2023 he received an award for his R&B single “Damaged Goods” in Cincinnati Ohio. Woodie has been making strides to become one of North Carolina’s best.
