Leda Stray takes a “London Style” approach to his production and DJing, introducing a native grimy, underground, warehouse sound into modern UK Funky, Breaks & Bass music. Driven by curiosity, Leda Stray continues to deliver within his career, seeming to mysteriously appear out of nowhere and storm the Bass music scene, seeing heavy support by the top and most respected. In this time, he received high praise from various notable sources including, The Guardian (9/10 Review), BBC Radio 1, and DJ Mag, who featured numerous Leda Stray releases, with a Money Shot feature for The Source EP at 9.5/10, 9/10 for "All 4 Nothing", 9/10 for his Live EP, 8.5/10 for The Oracle EP and a 9/10 for his "You're the One for Me" Remix, amongst others. More recently, Leda Stray has been occupied with the UK Funky sound, working closely with Roska Kicks & Snares and appearing regularly on Reprezent Radio. His most recent Funky EP release, ‘Astray’, was launched with a room takeover at Fabric London with Tumble Audio in September 2018. His take on Doneo's Chalice achieved a 9/10 rave review in the April edition of Mixmag, and has seen support globally with catchy UK tribal influences penetrating dancefloors all over, including numerous Boiler Room plays. With many releases and collaboration projects in the pipeline for 2019, it’s going to be a busy year for “the mega bearded London bad man”.
