From his bedroom studio in South Wales, VALLY VAND bends the idea of a genre by offering an amalgamation of pop, hip hop and R&B sounds with electronic elements laced throughout. unpredictable production, hazy melodicism and vulnerable storytelling is quickly establishing him as an artist and songwriter to look out for. Off the back of his first EP titled Winterlude he has accumulated over 65,000 plays, the introduction alone was placed in over 2,700 playlists earning 2,000 shazams. Pursuing and paving his own way VALLY VAND says “Growing up in Cardiff I never felt I fitted in and even when I tried to I would end up standing out”. Early influences from his mother listening to motown and his father playing reggae bass lines solidified his love and versatile taste in music. Fascinated by the creative process he spent his early years recording and mixing music for local talent in South Wales. His creativity spans beyond music as he directs and edits music videos making him an all round visionary. After having a spiritual awakening he now places all his focus on his independent blueprint.
