Flanked by two of the best exponents of the new generations of Catalan jazz -the prize-winning pianist Xavi Torres (seminalist of the prestigious Thelonious Monk Competition 2018) and the drummer Joan Terol-, the Mallorcan Pere Bujosa presents his second album as a leader "Wabi-Sabi", by the hand of the recognized label Fresh Sound New Talent. Bujosa has worked at the service of musicians such as international artists Antonio Serrano, Ben Van Gelder (Netherlands), Hanna Paulsberg (Norway) and Salvador Sobral (Portugal). In this work, Bujosa explores the possibilities of one of the most classic formats in the field of jazz: the piano, double bass and drums trio. Pere Bujosa's group is committed to reflecting the Mallorcan musician's passion for rhythm and textures, with a purely jazz formula but with influences from rock, electronics and free improvisation, among other genres.
