WHO IS BLESS MONTANA?! Rapper/songwriter born Nashon Smith, on April 17th, in Atlantic City New, Jersey is one of ATL's best up and coming talents of 2025. Bless is the oldest of five and started free styling as a hobby at the age of 9; this is a form of unwritten rap where lyrics are said as you think them. Encouragement from his step father, gave him the confidence to study music & perfect his craft. At the tender age 12 the New Jersey native relocated to Atlanta, Ga. with his family, where he attended school in DeKalb County. Bless began to take his craft serious after collaborating with DJ Farenheit and Big Tyket Entertainment, LLC, in May of 2011. He attended open mics and performed everywhere from night clubs to community events. Bless began to make a name for himself, winning "Hot 107.9s Battlegrounds" an ATL radio competition for unsigned hype and "Eastside Idol" a yearly competition held in Decatur amongst today’s young artist. Not long after, Bless was incarcerated and welcomed his first born, a precious baby girl, into the world. He used his time to re-evaluate his life’s path and develop himself as a person and an artist. After his release, Bless was asked, “What was the most important thing you learned from being in prison?" he replied, "You can never put a price on freedom."
