Born Samuel Hanyane, a self-taught musician and an exceptionally shrewd producer, rapper, singer, songwriter, mixing, mastering engineer and performer – Sage Xplicit began making music as a teenager in Seabe, Mpumalanga where he was raised. As his confidence grew and his style developed, he soon began to showcase his talent at various venues across his neighbourhood, playing at numerous gigs and festivals. His following began to grow, and he soon became a popular local hit in the Seabe music scene, with a debut album titled “True Story” in 2020 under The November Music. In 2022 he collaborated with Papayito and DJ Spyda to release instant classics Drift Away and Found Each Other (Vuli Ndlela), later followed by TRH (The Remix Hub), a project that features 11 tracks, some of the remixes from popular songs by Selena Gomez, Burna Boy, Justin Bieber, DJ Khaled and many more. TRH features an appearance from Cezwee x Lamingo on a song called “JERUSALEMA.” The rapper/singer announced his project on October 22. He also released a music video for his collaborative track “Amaphiko” with Doski B.
