South Africa based multi-talented female house DJ and producer Zandile Mazithulela, aka DJ Zandimaz, stepped in the South African music scene in 2012 and quickly managed to turn heads. Zandimaz always knew she wanted to work in the entertainment industry, and gave up her career as a lawyer to be behind the decks. She got her first big break in the male-dominated scene in 2013 on a popular youth DJ talent show, and before long this talented lady became the resident DJ for Cubana club (2013-2014). Over the years Zandimaz has grabbed the attention and worked with some of Mzansi’s most respected DJs and artists, such as Busiswa, Nokwazi and Oskido, so much so that she has become one of the best female house DJs in Southern Africa. As Amapiano is keeps growing and her first major hit “Emanthandeni” is certified Platinum in South Africa, DJ Zandimaz looks certain to make an impact not just in Africa, but around world.
