I’m an independent electronic music producer from Zagreb, Croatia. My main music project is “Fortadelis” which I interchangeably use as an artist pseudonym. I was a child of early computer music revolution, started with Commodore 64 SID chip, through Amiga 500 era with SoundTracker, ProTracker, Aegis, KCS and later with PC era with Cubase, Samplitude and for the last 17 years Ableton Live. I’ve composed and released numerous instrumental tracks during the years, including those that were used in various audio-visual projects and soundtracks. I’ve always been productive and had many ideas, and as soon I recorded something, I published it. I combine several genres, including retrowave, EDM, melodic techno, ambient with elements of various synth eras. I’m also passionate about jazz infused styles and I developed my own blend of electro-funk, jazz-funk, nu-jazz, chillout, downtempo ... My body of work is suitable for relaxation and creative work. I’m trying to bring elements of surprise and unexpectable turns in order to make it interesting and catchy. There are too many notable influencers on my musical upbringing, but to name a few, most important ones are: Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis, Mike Oldfield, Kraftwerk, Hans Zimmer, Ennio Morricone, Tom Jobim, Pat Metheny, Pink Floyd and many others.
