Ictus Novus was formed in 2020 by guitarist, Kyle Miller and percussionist, Matthew Kowalski. They began playing together in various musical settings at the Aaron Copland School of Music and found common interests at the intersection of contemporary music and metal bands. Ictus Novus seeks to write and perform music that is compelling and honors the exciting sounds that drew these two artists to their instruments.
