Mel G is a Producer and DJ based in New York City. As a member of the seminal Teklife crew and record label, he has been instrumental in the spread of Footwork, Juke, and Ghetto House in NYC since 2012. He's also one half of the footwork/electronic duo Tripletrain, who have released 4 albums and several singles & mixes over the years, gaining a cult following of fans from all over the world. His Music has been released on Teklife Records, Hyperdub Records, Black Marble Collective, and several independent labels, as well as collaborations with DJ Rashad, DJ Spinn, DJ Manny, DJ Taye, DJ Earl, DJ Hank, Boylan (Chi), and more. Songs from his first EP on Low Key Recs have been featured on BBC Radio1, XLR8R Podcast, Beatport Live, Resident Advisor Mix of the Day, and more.
