SNSY a.k.a SenSei, a talented singer-songwriter, producer skilfully blends alternative hip-hop, R&B, and worldbeat rhythms with soulful vocals and eco-soulful harmonies to craft music that is both uplifting and calming. SNSY, also known as Malusi Ngqwemla, was born and raised in the Western Cape in the 20th century, the same region that gave us the iconic South African singer Brenda Fassie and actress Charlize Theron. Growing up in the township of Khayelitsha, SNSY found inspiration to make music through the “SPAZA” era in other words (underground kasi rap). Ever since then the rest is history in making. In 2020, SNSY finally released his debut EP, "Pink Pigeon" and “chasingsomethin” in his hometown Cape Town in the Western Cape. Since then, he has co-produced the LP "THE LITTLE BOOKSHOP I & II” with artist "Sntr" and released his latest project, "SIMI EP," on a few carefully chosen outlets.
