Joey Huang has been dubbed as a breath of fresh air in the rap scene as well as the “Cheer Chen of Hip Hop”. His lyrics are concise and exquisite; his rhymes witty and animated. Graduated from Foreign Languages and Literatures of National Taiwan University, he etches landscape paintings in Hip Hop by using his unique style and point of view, creating the perfect blend between hip and elegant. Known for his old-school romanticism and nostalgic warmth in the earlier days, he recently integrated his software engineering abilities to provide a technological perspective in the music scene. He is adept at incorporating jargons into daily life observations as inspiration, massively inducing technical terms into his lyrics. The structural narratives, the establishment of an electric Hip Hop vibe, and futuristic production elements have since became his signature sound, a unique style of Cyber Pop.
